CompTIA Security+ (2020 series) is CompTIA's associate-level cybersecurity certification, sat as exam SY0-601. The exam runs for 1 hour 30 minutes and presents up to 90 questions, with a pass mark of 750 / 900 (scaled). It costs US$392 at the standard rate.
CompTIA publishes the syllabus as 5 weighted domains. Implementation carries the most weight at 25%, and the three largest domains together account for roughly 70% of the scored content — worth knowing before you decide where study time goes.
