Microsoft’s senior security credential, earned by holding one associate security certification and passing the SC-100 architecture exam.
SC-100 alone does not award the credential. You also need one of Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), Security Operations Analyst (SC-200), Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300) or Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102).
SC-100 is a design exam. It asks you to translate business and regulatory requirements into a zero trust architecture spanning identity, operations, infrastructure, applications and data.
Because it draws on the whole Microsoft security portfolio, candidates usually find the prerequisite exam is the easier half of the journey.
In the order most candidates take them. Where a track offers a choice of concentration, every eligible exam is listed.
Securing Azure in practice: identity and access hardening, network security, protecting compute, storage and databases, and running security operations with Defender and Sentinel.

Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert requires 2 exams. They are listed below in the order most candidates take them.
12 months from the date the final exam is passed. Renewal requirements are set by the vendor and change from time to time, so confirm before your expiry date.
